I refer to the trademark act of 2015 14.2: A person may, within the prescribed time
from the date of the publication of the application, give
notice to the Controller of opposition to the registration.
Where is the prescribed time mentioned? I couldn’t find it in the legal text.
A person (referred to in this Division as “the opponent”) may, within three months from the date of publication of the application for registration, file with the Controller a notice opposing the registration in Form TM 6 (referred to in this Division as a “notice of opposition”) and shall forthwith serve a copy of the notice of opposition on the applicant.”

The regulations governing the opposition procedure under the new law are available on our website: http://ipo.gov.tt/downloads/Trademark/trade_marks_regulations.pdf/. In particular, regulation 26 provides, “26.
